So below, you’ll find plenty of hot, ooey-gooey dishes that’ll make you drool. But you’ll also find creamy, cold dips and a few unique recipes I can’t wait to try.

Because “cheese” can mean anything from feta and melted Swiss to cream cheese.

That’s why this list of cheese dip recipes is so long! I just couldn’t narrow it down.

Enjoy!

1. Philly Cheesesteak Dip

This sensational dip recipe is everything you love about the classic sandwich without the hoagie bread (that’s on the side).

And man, it is tasty!

This dip is loaded with thick chunks of steak, caramelized onions, and sautéed peppers.

Mixed with Provolone cheese, cream cheese, and sour cream, it’s creamy, warm, and to die for.

2. Whipped Feta Dip

This Mediterranean-inspired vegetarian dip is perfect for any party.

It has a fantastic salty, sharp, and savory flavor that’ll knock your socks off. And it’s also seriously creamy.

Made with a block of feta cheese, sour cream, olive oil, garlic, and seasonings, it’s a breeze to make, too. Just blend in a food processor until smooth.

Add some tasty toppings, like bacon bits, honey, red pepper flakes, or chives, and it’s ready to go.

3. Frank’s Buffalo Chicken Dip

Is it really game day without buffalo chicken something? Whether it’s wings or dip, buffalo chicken is classic.

And even if you really don’t like this tangy hot sauce, you might like this dip recipe.

All the cheeses offset the super vinegary taste and calm down the heat.

Serve with chips or bread, or both. Just don’t forget the celery!

4. Lasagna Dip

I love lasagna, but I often avoid making it because it’s tedious and time-consuming.

But with this dip, you get all the flavor and none of the boring bits. And it’s better for parties, too.

It’s really just like lasagna minus the noodles. Every bite is incredibly flavorful.

5. Corn Queso Dip

If corn chowder and cheese dip had a baby, you’d get something like this.

It bursts with fantastic flavors, and I love the bright colors and chunks of corn in the mix.

The dip itself is made with corn, poblano peppers, onion, garlic, oil, and water. Oh yeah, and a ton of cheddar cheese. I

Top it with cilantro and jalapeños, and serve it with your favorite chips.

6. Beer Cheese Dip

This is possibly one of the most famous cheese dips out there – and for good reason!

It’s thick, but not too thick. Salty but perfectly balanced. And cheesy to the max.

Best served with pretzels and a cold beer, it’s a dip recipe you’ll turn to again and again.

7. Easy Cheesy Pizza Dip

I love everything about that title. And honestly, the picture should be enough to convince you to make it,

Because this is basically a quadruple cheese, creamy, saucy pepperoni pizza without the pesky carbs.

Though, it’s terrific with a side of soft bread.

Velveeta Sausage Dip

8. Velveeta Sausage Dip

Love it or hate it, you gotta admit Velveeta makes a darn good dip. And this one might be the best Velveeta dip out there!

It’s loaded with salty pork sausage meat and plenty of diced tomatoes with chopped green chilies.

Better yet, you can have this ready to serve in under 20 minutes. So it’s ideal for last-minute guests,

9. Hidden Valley Ranch Dip with Bacon & Cheddar

If you’re as obsessed with Ranch as me, you’ll want to make a double batch of this.

This sour cream dip mixes Hidden Valley Original Ranch Dip Mix and cream cheese to make it thick.

Add in shredded cheese, crumbled bacon, and top it with some green onions. Yum!

10. Chicken Enchilada Dip

Like the lasagne recipe above, this is a shortcut to deliciousness.

Enchiladas are incredible, but again, they’re so time-consuming to make.

That’s where this dip comes in! Stuffed with Rotel, rotisserie chicken, black beans, corn, and tomatoes, it’s got all the flavors you expect.

Plus, there’s cream cheese, Mexican blend cheese, taco seasoning, and enchilada sauce. Every bite is insanely good!

11. Smoked Salmon Dip

Perfect for brunch, this cream cheese dip includes chopped smoked salmon, briny capers, green onions, and fresh dill.

That alone is super tasty and would be incredible on a toasted bagel!

But you’ll also mix in Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce, and lemon juice. So it’s bright, tangy, and a little bit spicy. Wow!

12. Creamy Bacon Cheeseburger Dip

You know those cake shows where they disguise cakes to look like hyper-realistic foods?

And you can’t tell which one is cake and which one is the real thing?

Well, this is the same premise, but sort of the opposite. This dip does it with taste instead.

It doesn’t look like a bacon cheeseburger, but your taste buds won’t know the difference.

13. Hot Sloppy Joe Dip

Let’s get down and dirty with this delicious dip.

Sloppy Joes are not known for their cleanliness… hence the name. And this gooey dip lives up to its reputation.

It tastes exactly like the old childhood fave, but better because it’s smothered in melted cheese!

Bowl of Cheesy Cowboy Crack Dip with Corn, Onions and Chips

14. Cowboy Crack Dip

The key to this cowboy dip is the sausage. You need spicy sausage to cut through all the cheese.

And don’t worry, it’s not hot. Instead, it adds a bit of warmth under all that richness.

And between the cream cheese and cheddar, it needs it!

15. Warm Chorizo Beer Cheese Dip

I’m gonna be honest… I didn’t think there was anything better than the classic beer cheese dip above.

And then I met this chorizo beer cheese dip.

HOLY SMOKES YOU GUYS! This stuff is dang good.

The beer adds a lovely richness and hints of umami, while the smoky, spicy chorizo lifts it to new heights.

It packs a flavor punch that’ll knock you out!

16. Texas Trash Dip

If you can look beyond the name, this dip is insanely tasty.

Featuring cream cheese, sour cream, refried beans, chilies, cheese, and taco seasoning, it’s like a cheese and bean burrito but in dip form!

Top it with extra cheese and serve with plenty of chips.

17. Mississippi Sin Dip

It’s naughty, but oh, so nice.

If you were to disassemble a Croque Monsieur sandwich, you’d get this.

It’s basically an extra creamy, extra saucy, hot ham and cheese sandwich. And it’s served in a bread boat. What more could you ask for?

Bowl of Spinach Artichoke Dip

18. Spinach Artichoke Dip Recipe

Spinach and artichoke dip might just be the king of the dips.

I mean, have you ever seen it on a menu and not ordered it? No, neither have I!

And this recipe is extra special because it also includes bacon! That kick of slaty meat really sends this over the edge.

Make extra – you’ll need it!

19. Everything Bacon Dip

Grab your favorite bagel chips because this everything bacon dip is not to be missed.

It’s a simple blend of cream cheese, sour cream, and onion powder. But that sprinkle of Everything but the Bagel seasoning is everything!

20. Hot Roasted Pepper Dip

If you love pimento cheese, you’ll love this, too!

It’s kind of like pimento cheese on steroids. So the base features cream cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, garlic, and onion.

There’s also mustard for a bit of tang and, of course, roasted red peppers.

They’re sweet and savory, with a delicious smokiness. And they are the star of this dip.

And if you need Monterey Jack cheese substitutes, try Muenster!

21. Pulled Pork Dip

Need something hearty for game day? How about this pulled pork dip?

The base features pulled pork with cream cheese, sour cream, BBQ sauce, garlic, and shredded cheddar.

Over that, you’ll add more cheese and bake until bubbly.

22. Jalapeño Popper Dip

This dip is everything you love about jalapeño poppers without the hassle.

There’s no cutting and stuffing individual peppers. No breading and frying/baking.

Instead, you’ll make a familiar filling with cream cheese, mayo, cheese, green onions, jalapeños, and bacon.

Top that with crushed crackers, Parmesan, and butter, and bake until golden, How easy is that?

Appetizing Rotel Dip with Chips

23. Rotel Dip (3-Ingredient Recipe)

This easy three-ingredient recipe is a winner at any party or gathering.

It’s full of tasty beef, zippy tomatoes, and plenty of gooey Velveeta cheese. Though feel free to add to that.

For example, I like it with onions mixed in. And I’ve even used different ground meats, like pork or turkey. Yum!

24. Whipped Brie with Herbs and Honeycomb

We’ve had whipped feta, and it’s insanely good. But this whipped Brie is something really special.

It takes a bit of patience, and you may think it’s not coming together at first. But trust the process, and you’ll soon have a light and fluffy dip on your hand.

Add some honey and fresh herbs, and serve with crusty bread.

25. Creamy Baked Double Cheese and Sweet Onion Dip

Calling all French Onion Soup lovers!

This cheese dip packs in all the flavors of the savory soup, but it’s better. Why? Because there’s more cheese!

It’s just as comforting as the soup, possibly even more so. And it is dang delightful!

26. Shrimp Scampi Dip

This dip takes the classic Italian dish and kicks it up a notch!

Basically, it’s shrimp mac and cheese without the macaroni. Aka, utterly delicious.

Just be sure to start with big, fresh shrimp for the best bite!

27. Baked Bacon Cheese Dip in a Bread Bowl

Isn’t everything better served in a bread bowl? I certainly think so, which is why I love this cheesy dip so much.

It features three creamy dairy ingredients AND three types of shredded cheese.

Plus, a myriad of seasonings and freshly cooked bacon. Is your mouth watering yet?

28. Mexican Street Corn Dip

I’m drooling just looking at that picture. I mean, I think we found the ultimate cheese dip, guy!

If you’ve never had elote, you definitely need to try it. It’s grilled, charred corn covered in mayonnaise, chili powder, lime, cotija cheese, and cilantro.

And this dip is the next best thing. It’s got everything listed above, plus onions, garlic, sour cream, butter, and seasonings. Yum!

Every bite is luxuriously creamy, smoky, garlicky, and spicy. Honestly, it’s drool-worthy.

29. Baked Goat Cheese Dip with Marinara

It doesn’t get much more rich and flavorful than this goat cheese dip. It looks impressive, and the flavors are stellar.

Start with premade marinara sauce for easy prep. But you’ll boost the flavors with garlic, balsamic vinegar, and seasonings.

That’s topped with a creamy blend of goat cheese, mozzarella, cream cheese, and asiago. Add a few tomatoes, and it’s oh-em-gee-yummy!

30. Roasted Lemon Spinach and Artichoke Dip

This delicious twist on spinach and artichoke dip feels incredibly grown-up.

But it’s got many of the same ingredients, including fontina and mozzarella cheese, spinach, artichokes, and garlic.

But you’ll also add jalapeños, smoked paprika, and pine nuts for a buttery crunch.

31. Hot Blue Cheese Dip

Maybe pungent, tangy blue cheese is more your style. In that case, I’ve got just the recipe!

Since it’s the key ingredient, be sure to get top-quality blue cheese. And be sure the cream cheese and sour cream are full fat for the most decadent flavor.

Serve this alongside the buffalo dip from the top, and your guests won’t know what’s hit them.

32. Fried Pickles and Ranch Dip

This is the way to win a Midwesterner’s heart.

Fried pickles are the best appetizer ever invented. And they’re always served with a side of ranch dressing or spicy ranch.

This dip tastes just like the appetizer, but it’s much easier to make because there is no deep frying involved.

But don’t worry, you won’t miss the crunchy batter. Toasted breadcrumbs provide all the crunch you need.

33. Reuben Dip

Have you ever had a real Reuben?

The corned beef, the Swiss cheese, the Thousand Island dressing, and sauerkraut. Oh, and that delicious rye bread!

Man, it’s a pretty perfect sandwich.

Now picture all that (minus the bread) mixed in a baking dish and cooked until bubbly. Yeah, it’s just as incredible as it sounds.

34. Savory Pumpkin Cheese Dip with Bacon

This dip might be a bit unexpected, but holy cow, it’s delicious!

It’s a lot like butternut squash soup but in dip form. And, of course, you’ll use pumpkin instead of squash.

The star of this show is the pumpkin puree. You can make it yourself or use a can from the store. Both work really well.

Just make sure you don’t buy pumpkin pie filling. Or this dip will be really weird.

35. Vegan Queso Dip

Vegan friends, I have not forgotten you!

Try this combination of almond milk, cashews, and nutritional yeast for your next party, and I bet you’ll have everyone fooled.

It’s super cheese-like and delicious.

Add some Rotel tomatoes, salt, chili powder, and lime juice, and you’re all set.

36. Seven-Layer Taco Dip

Who doesn’t like tacos? They’re fun, delicious, and great for a party!

And this layered taco dip invokes the same feelings but with a lot less mess.

Plus, it’s great for bringing to potlucks. Just layer it up, cover the top, and it’ll be ready to go when you arrive.

37. Spicy, Cheesy Corn and Tomato Dip

It has a little heat, a little sweetness, and a whole lotta flavor! And because there are plenty of veggies in the mix, it’s healthy(ish).

You’ll love this cheesy, corny dip with red serrano peppers. They bring just the right amount of heat, though you can add more if you like.

Either way, it’s scrummy.

38. Lemon Thyme Baked Ricotta Cheese Dip

Lemon, thyme, and ricotta are a match made in culinary heaven. Especially when they’re baked!

Add mozzarella for the cheese pull, Parmesan for its salty-nutty flavor, and plenty of garlic for a punchy finish.

Make sure to serve this with plenty of crusty bread. And watch out – it won’t last long!

Neiman Marcus Dip with Spoon

39. Neiman Marcus Dip

Also known as “million dollar dip“, one bite of this, and you’ll see why this is so popular.

Similar to my favorite BLT dip recipe, it’s textural, salty, cheesy, and super creamy. Not to mention, it’s a breeze to make.

Ready in five minutes, it’s great with extra bacon and green onions on top.

Homemade Queso Dip

40. Qdoba Queso (Copycat Recipe)

If you’ve ever been to Qdoba, you’ll have tried the heavenly queso dip.

If not, get ready to fall in love! Because this cheesy dip, with three cheeses and poblano peppers, is pretty addictive.

Just be sure to shred your own cheese. The pre-shredded stuff just doesn’t melt (or taste) the same.

41. Cajun Shrimp Dip

If there’s one thing that Cajun cuisine does well, it’s shrimp!

And while Cajun cooking has so many delicious elements, the shrimp is pure perfection.

This dish is super savory, creamy, and delicious. It bursts with bold Cajun spices, veggies, three kinds of cheese, and sour cream.

Plus, there’s tender shrimp in every bite.

42. Cheesy Crab Rangoon Dip

If your favorite part of crab rangoon is the filling, you’ll love this dip! It tastes just like the delicious Chinese-American appetizer.

It’s full of meaty crab and creamy, cheesy goodness. Fresh herbs and lemon juice balance the richness of the dish.

Serve with chips. Or better yet, serve with fried wonton wrappers!

43. Nashville Hot Chicken Dip

Nashville hot chicken is juicy, crispy, and yes, insanely spicy!

But full disclosure: this dip isn’t as hot. I mean, it’s mixed with cream cheese and buttermilk, so how could it be, right?

But it is just as tasty! And there’s still plenty of tender chicken, cayenne pepper, and pickles in the mix.

44. Hot Caramelized Onion Dip with Bacon and Gruyere

Let’s read that again: hot caramelized onion dip with bacon and Gruyere.

Do I even need to say any more?

This is beyond delectable. In fact, it’s downright sinful. So watch out, or you’ll eat the whole dish yourself!

45. Baked Pineapple Cream Cheese Dip

Any Hawaiian pizza lovers reading today? Okay, great, because this one’s for you!

Ignore the naysayers and critics, and cook with your heart. Do that, and you’ll have this tasty cheese and pineapple dip ready in a flash.

Between the cream cheese, pineapple chunks, chopped ham, shredded cheese, and garlic, it’s unique but definitely worth a try.

46. Broccoli Cheese Dip

Ever tried creamy broccoli and cheddar soup? Then you’ll know how insanely good this dip is!

It’s like soup, only thicker, cheesier, and way more addictive.

Top it with buttery crackers and chow down!

Clam Dip with Green Onions

47. Clam Dip Recipe

Creamy, fresh, and full of meaty clams, this dip is perfect for your next backyard bash.

For convenience, you’ll use canned clams and mix them with cream cheese, garlic, Worcester sauce, and lemon juice.

Serve with crackers, and enjoy!

48. Tomato Mozzarella Caprese Dip

I adore Caprese salads. The mozzarella with juicy tomatoes and zippy balsamic is always a win in my books.

So this Caprese dip is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

There’s plenty of mozzarella, basil, tomatoes, and herbs in the mix. And the mustard powder is an extra tasty touch.

49. Vegetarian Mushroom Queso Fundido

Queso fundido is typically made with cheese and chorizo. But this mushroom version is a fantastic vegetarian twist!

It’s cheesy, spicy, and loaded with delicious veggies.

Obviously, its main components are cheese and mushrooms. But onions, jalapeños, and cilantro add so much extra yumminess.

Serve with warm tortillas, and enjoy!

50. Baked Provolone Cheese Dip

Throwing a fancy dinner party? Then you have to make this elegant Provolone cheese dip.

It’s straightforward to make, and the flavors are wonderfully complex.

From the gobs of gooey Provolone to the roasted grapes and chopped walnuts, it’ll be the talk of the evening!
